Whey Protein Isolate (WPI – Whey Protein Isolate) is a dairy product that is made by centrifuging whey and removing fat, lactose and almost all other ingredients. Whey protein isolate contains up to 90% protein and is rich in amino acids, including branched chain amino acids (BCAA) and glutathione.

Whey protein isolate is also used in the food industry as an ingredient in dairy products, such as yoghurts, kefirs, buttermilk, cheeses and dairy desserts.

It can also be used as a component of protein mixtures, as an ingredient in food for athletes, as an ingredient in dietary supplements.

Whey protein isolate is also used in the pharmaceutical industry, as an ingredient in medicines, dietary supplements, as an ingredient in food for infants, children and the elderly, as an ingredient in food for farm animals.
